  1. Hi..our wedding is only immediate family on August 8 at Novotel manly. Celebrant style wedding at 1130 am..and finishes at 5pm. We don’t really need a full time photographer..budget very low..what would you recommend? Thanks

    • Hi Lisa
With a limited budget coverage of the most important parts of the wedding need to considered.
Obviously the ceremony is central to the wedding. After that family photos and bridal party, followed by what us photographers call ” the formal photos” ie those at a picturesque location of the bridal party and portraits of the bride and groom. The reception has it’s formalities which are important to the day such as the speeches, cutting of the cake and the bridal waltz.

You need to ask “what is important to me to be captured professionally ensuring great images and what can I ask Uncle Harry to capture.?”

Many photographers offer coverage based on an hourly rate, so you could decide to just have coverage for part of the day
